I want to be in the Witch Choir when I grow up. Had a great time speaking to the @chesapeakepubliclibrary librarians during their annual staff day this afternoon. I got to share about my books, my writing process, and the presentations I offer for readers and writers. Thanks to Isaac and Jocelyn for hosting! Super excited to be back at @loudouncountypubliclibrary next weekend to talk about editing your fiction pieces, including how to give and receive critique. This is an all-ages event, please come join us! I’ll play. 2016 was the year before my debut novel was published. We celebrated 10 years married in Vegas. I wrote my second contracted book, which included a fab research trip to NYC. And I spent a lot of time reading and shouting out my fellow 2017 debuts books. It was a good year 🩷 Kiddo’s tribute to @joe.keery and @djotime 🤩 NoVa readers! I’m doing an author panel with 3 awesome authors on Saturday 11/22 at 5 pm at @bnfairfax - come chat with us and buy some books 📚 holiday shopping season starts now! It’s here! Tous Les Chemins Mènent à Toi has arrived! It’s so lovely to see the beautiful artwork and the little changes for language in this new edition. Super excited to have this on my shelf and to have it available to a whole new audience 🇫🇷❤️ Annual writing retreat is in the books, pun totally intended. I love spending time with these inspiring, hard-working ladies, putting positive energy and creativity out into the world. Thanks for a great time, friends! BOOK NEWS! I’m so pleased to share that my novel Everywhere You Want To Be is now available in France! It’s been on my author bucket list for years to have a foreign sale and it could not be more perfect that the first one is France. I’m a lifelong Francophile—I even considered becoming a French teacher for a hot minute—and I am having so much fun imagining Tilly dancing in Paris with Paolo cheering her on.
